THERAPIST BIO

When people ask me why I am became a Remedial Massage Therapist it wasn’t just because I loved getting massages (Ok it kinda was) but my ‘aha moment’ came when I experienced injury myself and sought remedial treatment. The difference I felt from my first few sessions had a much more profound effect than the usual  ‘feel good factor’ of a regular Day spa massage.

I realised then and there that I wanted to be able assist people who were in pain to be able regain not only a sense of balance but thrive again through massage. There is nothing better than being able to connect with my clients, learning their stories and using my knowledge and skills as a remedial therapist to walk beside them in their healing journey.

I understand the emotional and debilitating effects injury can have and when a client comes in with a presenting problem from injury or just being run down, I like to treat the body as a whole and not just the symptoms.

Using advanced and very specific deep tissue techniques, I really like to sink in deeply to unwind muscle tension, which is causing the back pain, migraines or sports injuries that I see. BUT being a self confessed 'massage addict' I believe my clients should have their cake and eat it too, treatment wise, so I will always leave time for a decent foot rub or a head massage.
